Content Analyst integrates 64-bit dtSearch Engine in KMWorld Trend setting software
Content Analyst Company and dtSearch Corp. have announced the integration of the dtSearch Text Retrieval Engine into Version 3.3 of CAAT (Content Analyst Analytical Technology platform). The release embeds the native 64-bit dtSearch Engine for cross-platform Windows/Linux full-text searching. This latest update includes a new feature in dtSearch Desktop/Network in Edit > Copy File for copying container files other than archives. The update also includes several minor bug fixes in some of the file parsers.

dtSearch 7.54 range* now shipping
This latest update adds a new Microsoft Access file parser with no dependencies on the Microsoft JET Engine or ODBC drivers, so it works identically under Windows and Linux and a new file parser for Flash (*.swf) files.
Enhancements to the dtSearch Engine developer product include support for searching for Unicode characters that are not defined as letters by default (such as currency symbols), an ability to list all documents in an index in XML format including document properties and stored fields, and many minor fixes and enhancements.
dtSearch Publish now adds an option to enable links to Office documents (doc, xls, etc.) to launch in Office, outside of the normal viewer.
